Moment of History
Alright, maybe you already know this from other source, since like always, my blog is not fast-updated. But whatever, now I wanna talk about Osama Bin Laden being dead.
Osama Bin Laden, leader of Al Qaeda has been confirmed dead by a bullet in his face. The man responsible for the 9/11 tragedy and almost all terrorism acts around the world is now officially dead.
Many Americans,or maybe, others in another places in the world get out on the road, cheer, dance, and sing, celebrate this event.
The question is, should we?
Osama’s death is indeed one momentous point in history. Yes, I agree to that. But does this mean all the terrors end here? Mmm, I don’t think so. Just like I tweeted a few days ago, if I kill Ronald McDonald, will McDonald close tomorrow? No! Killing Bin Laden doesn’t change anything on the ground. His death only means that the face of terrorism is now gone. But the terrorism itself, I believe, remains.
The next question is, is this the justice that we were after? Well yeah, Bin Laden deserved what was coming for him, I agree. But let’s be honest, people from both sides has been hurting, not to mention countless innocent lives has been sacrificed, needlessly. Just look at what America has made to Iraq. I believe it was once such peaceful place there, but look at it now. And don’t forget the soldiers and reporters from around the world who were also killed in the war. Just think what their family fell when they think of their lost ones. Is this justice? no.
we are no heroes in this war
